Netbook Reflection 2012

I have really enjoyed this year in Room 16. My favourite part of this year has been using Maths Whizz. I am looking forward to meeting my new class next year!

Some of my best things from this year have been Maths Whizz, Studyladder, Xtramath and working with Mrs Slade. I have enjoyed these things because it has made my learning more fun and interesting.

For next year I would like to get a new netbook that is stronger than my one. The thing that always seems to break is the screen. Would be good if this was stronger.

I am looking forward to using my netbook again next year. Thank you to Mr Burt for his help getting us our netbooks.

Going fishing

I went wfishing ith my uncle. We went
to the rocks. I got a fish. My uncle got
a fish too. We took  the fish home to
                    eat.

         

The mouse

The mouse stirred in his hole. was it time to  wake up from his long winter sleep yet?  He poked his nose out of the hole.

The little mouse listened. He could hear the cat by his hole. He was scared to go out and he stayed hungry.

  I  had two weetbix for breakfast. I put
 hot water and sugar on top and then I ate it.
 Next I made a drink of milo  I put some
 hot water, milk and sugar in a cup with the
 milo. I drank it and I liked it.

 For lunch I made three sandwiches. I put some

lettuce, ham, cheese and tomato on them. I ate one sandwich and Mrs Tepania  wrapped them in paper. My lunch was yummy.

  For our dinner we made roast lamb with vegetables. We cooked it and ate it. I liked it.

BMX Olympic Motto

To do BMX you need a good strong bike. BMX riders do a lot of practice over the track. They practice every day to go as fast as they can.



All year Marc Willers has trained to start fast out of the gate and win the first straight. He did that in his heat in the olympics. To be a BMX rider I would have to go a club and learn how to ride properly.

Running the Race.

Nick Willis runs fast. He tries his best. He is the captain of the 2012 N.Z Olympic Team. Nick does a  lot of training. We are practising to run in the school cross country race.

Swimming at the Olympics

I saw the people swimming in the Olympic swimming pool. They swam very fast. I like the freestyle the best!

Going fishing

They went fishing and the boy got a big fish and he was happy his dad got a king fish.

Going to Church

On Sunday I went to church with my cousin. We sang some songs and listened to some stories. I like going to church!

My Dog

I have a dog. Her name is Kelly. We take her to the beach to play.

My Dinosaur

My Dinosaur. Last Tuesday I drew a dinosaur. It was a Hylaeosaurus. I drew it and then I coloured it. Next I helped to do the background.
